In an interesting move, Arsenal FC has teamed up with Parisian fashion house Lanvin in a two-year deal that makes the brand the team’s “Official Tailor”. What does this mean, exactly? Well though the team won’t be donning the finely tailored goods on the pitch, they’ll sport them in all off-field events. Designed specifically for the club by Lanvin’s Lucas Ossendrijver, the wardrobe includes midnight blue Italian Super 110 suits – each with the Arsenal crest emblazoned in gold at the chest – alongside slim white cotton poplin shirts, red silk ties, black derby shoes, a silver-buckled belt and a pair of cufflinks engraved with the famous Arsenal cannon. Overall? It’s a pretty stellar look.
