Örjan Andersson, founder and Creative Director of Cheap Monday, started as a denim salesman in Stockholm 18 years ago. In the year of 2000 he started a small secondhand store in Stockholm together with a couple of friends. The store was named Weekend Only and was open on Saturdays and Sundays. In 2003 Örjan came up with the idea of making Cheap Monday jeans for their new store named Weekday, which was open 7 days a week. In the beginning of 2004 the first pair of Cheap Monday jeans hit the store. The rest, as they say, is history…
