J.Crew opens it’s second New York based men’s-only store at a former newsstand in Soho. The 3,406 sq ft. Men’s Shop will be divided into four galleries, carrying an edited collection of J.Crew favorites, which showcase our unique washes, quality fabrics and tailored design. Built in the 1800s, 484 Broadway is the ideal location for our newest Men’s Shop. To create a unique and masculine feel, our team restored the original storefront and many internal structures, focusing on the thin metal moldings and front glass window, as well as the skylight, which remains intact. Offset by coffered ceilings and black lacquer features, reclaimed barnwood knotty pine were used for the paneled walls and plank flooring. In keeping with the vintage vibe of the Tribeca Men’s Shop at the Liquor Store, reclaimed furniture, including tables and chairs, are utilized for display purposes.
We are excited to announce that the J.Crew Men’s Shop will house our first ever Suiting Shop. Located at the rear of the store, the Suiting Shop offers variations of our classic Aldridge style, as well as the recently launched slimmer Ludlow style. All necessary pairings, including everything from Thomas Mason shirts, to ties to vintage cufflinks, will be available to complete the look.
