An army of two forsaken big city kids with the attitude of hungry mongrels – that’s how Yeahboy Department describes its very own team of designers. The two Hamburg-based workaholics Alexandre Briatore (creative hustler/designer/shopkeeper) and Radek Sadowski (graphic designer/visual artist/programmer) have spent night after night trying to satisfy their craving for new styles – only in order to realize how, at the end of a hard day’s work, their stomachs are already growling for new ideas. The November 2008 opening of their new store in Hamburg, the YBDPT Studio, has provided a platform which enabled them to continue and deepen their work in between fashion and design. The periodical offering of short collections and collaborations with artists and musicians, combined with additional in-store events, allows for a unique relationship between consumer and creator and the most immediate audience feedback.
