Etro struts its stuff in this wild spring / sumer 2010 accessories collection. Etro’s design team does its best work when it challenges established menswear conventions like they do here. Loafers in bright blue and houndstooth patterned cap-toe oxfords are just some of the more conservative pieces in this collection, which goes out of its way to redefine what men can and can’t wear. Adjectives won’t suffice here, as this line-up is almost entirely without precedent in the menswear world. Let’s just say that this is what we have always thought Manolo Blahnik would do if he ever designed menswear – and that’s a very good thing.
