A new Berlin exhibition, at the Helmut Newton Foundation, showcases the late photographer’s iconic shots to celebrate the anniversary of SUMO, which was first published in 1999 in a limited run of 10,000. Along with its Philippe Starck stand, the almost-500-page book costs a mere $15,000. Expect to see a smaller version to hit shelves in September. The exhibition is also accompanied by the work of Newton’s protégés (Mark Arbeit, George Holz, Just Loomis) in a show entitled ‘Three Boys From Pasadena.’
