Riviera Club is a new label based in Santa Monica California and its menswear collection for spring / summer 2010 is currently doing to rounds. According to our sources, the spirit of Bunker Spreckels, international playboy and surfing legend, was harnessed as inspiration for this great looking collection. As Clark Gable’s step-son Bunker was born into a massive inheritance, which he’d eventually use to live fast and unfortunately died young due to an exuberant life of excess. It is this same free-spirit that Riviera Club has fused into its line of easy-fit chinos, henley tops, faded t-shirts and baja style ponchos, each reminiscent of west coast beach culture of the sixties and seventies…
