New York classic Steven Alan has released its fall 2009 lookbook, offering a Hampton-influenced style to both its usual clientèle of well-heeled Upper East-Siders and to younger customers looking for a touch of country club refinement. The flannels and thick knits are very traditional, but the patterns used are minimal and modern, evoking feelings of Fire Island and the Hamptons after Labor Day.
