Come on guys. There’s a lot of dross in there that should be left off any list of good cinema and a massive amount of amazing cinema that doesn’t even get a look in. Ok, there’s some good in there but as a list it really does miss the mark way too much to be considered any kind of definitive list if you really know your cinema.
If I saw that collection on a guy’s DVD shelf I’d think it was someone with seriously inconsistent taste in cinema.
Not really a definitive dvd collection but a collection of mildly respectable hollywood/main stream films from the past 2-3 decades that every schmo and their mother has watched.
Its like the definitive rock music collection containing Elvis and the Beatles
