Coming as no surprise to anyone who was there, Fashion’s Night Out 2009 was a rousing success and a second edition for 2010 has been announced. Conceived as a way to encourage the general public to take an interest in New York City’s fashion community, Fashion’s Night Out is a citywide event featuring over 700 designers and retailers opening their doors for special sales, events, and promotions. The Council of Fashion Designers of America, the Editorial staff at Vogue, and the office of the Mayor of New York have agreed that on September 9th 2010, a second edition of the star-studded fashion industry event will take place. The 2009 event featured celebrities like Pharell Williams, Coco Rocha, Kid Cudi, Alexander Wang and Calvin Klein hosting events throughout Lower Manhattan, so hopefully the 2010 event will be an even bigger hit!
