Combat boots can be a sweet touch to any outfit. You see girls pull them off with sundresses and punks perfecting the skull-stomping look but even you can try incorporating them into your usual rotation. Best paired with but not necessarily restricted to jeans, you can create a few different looks for your various moods – here, creativity is key.
Outfit 1:
This guy plays it easy with a pair of grey jeans and a Misfits t-shirt for a little edge, while the glasses betray his sensitive side. He opted for legit combats, which is a bit intriguing, but I think what seals his look is its grey scale. He has totally mastered simplicity by only going ‘way out’ with one piece: the boots.
Outfit 2:
The only thing stopping him from looking entirely like a street urchin is what looks to be a fairly well-made doctor bag. Without taking it so far and scuzzy, mimic this look with an army-inspired jacket — the proper surplus always works — and choose Doc Marten’s, like he did, instead of the army issued alternative. Oh, and don’t expose your shorts.
