Jay Sabatino’s fall / winter collection, inspired by such films as Permanent Vacation by Jim Jarmusch and Blank Generation by Ulli Lommel was recently unveiled in New York and seeks to capture the mood of downtown NYC — circa the late 1970s and early 80s — when it was filled with artists living in illegal lofts.
