In keeping with today’s rock-and-roll theme, we thought these ads for Romania’s Guitar Shop were pretty classic. Publicis, Bucharest, Romania along with copy writer Cezar Panait and illustrator Vali Petridean created these vintage looking ads that portray Fender guitars as the cause of riots and global warming. But the best of all three adverts is the one that claims “Having one of these [a Fender Esquire] in the 50s was almost like having a gun.” The subtle irreverent tone is great – and totally inline with the rock-and-roll attitude associated with the Fender legacy.
