Interfacing – Diaroogle

It’s a real thing – Diaroogle, the search engine for publish washrooms, exists. Simply punch your current location into Diaroogle, and the site’s database of public washrooms, will list the clean public washrooms closest to you. Not at a computer? You can use Diaroogle’s iPhone app to get the same result. An inventive use of the Google Maps technology, Diaroogle is currently active only in San Fransisco, Manhattan Island, and London, but plans are in place to roll the technology out worldwide. A brilliant service, it’s actually quite interesting to see how easy it is to find a public toilet near Penn Station (easy), Times Square (surprisingly difficult), and Park Avenue (impossible).
