Burberry Prorsum goes with a much more modern vibe for the spring / summer 2011 collection. Christopher Bailey put a more eclectic, more youthful spin on Burberry this year, with variations on classic pieces that channel punk and military themes. We see great overcoats in drab olive green, and leather jackets and shirts with studs and plates for a Road Warrior twist on fashion. it’s a very adventurous, very ambitious move that pays off big, with a collection that’s just the right mix of classicism and modernity.
