Companies like American Apparel or Cheap Monday have enabled the colored jean to become a mainstay of many people’s wardrobes. Though purple may not be your color, don’t feel limited; red, bright blues, green, it doesn’t matter, as long as it’s bright. Granted it might not be for everyone but if you’re up to the challenge, take a look at the different ways to rock them.
Outfit 1:
Pairing the blue with the purple is a bold move but that’s clearly what this guy is about—even his t-shirt has blocks of color decorating it. But if you commit to it, without going too far, you too can look this cool and casual. Keep the number of colors to three or less, with a neutral like white or black to break it up.
Outfit 2:
If you’re feeling less confident in attention-grabbing colors, you can always take a slightly more minimalist path. This outfit is really great: he’s taken a typical ‘preppy’ attire (oxford, slacks, loafers) and substituted with bright purple, rolled up pants.
