Design Boom is the source for everything design related. Discussing key contemporary issues and the critique of all aspects of design, the site features traditional content, including interviews, history, contemporary designers, and profiles. Aside from that however, Design Boom also includes all kinds of nifty non-traditional things such as competitions, a shop that sells all kinds of randomly cool nicks-and-knacks. Possibly the most unique part of the site is design-aerobics, a series of online design courses that anyone can take part in. Want to learn about ceramic design? There’s a course for that, how about how to use paper in non-traditional formats (paper lighting fixtures anyone?), there’s also a course for that.
