Rural Vs. Urban by Georges Toumayan

Georges Toumayan depicts contrasting landscapes and cityscapes in the Michiana area — northern Indiana and southwestern Michigan — in this series of photos he titles ‘Rural Vs. Urban.’ Toumayan offers a glimpse at two formerly booming enterprises: traditional manufacturing and the family farm. As they exist today, he says, the photos reflect urban decay and rural abandonment.
