Ryan McGinness is back with more wonderful stuff made in association with Standard Hotels – this time, a deck of blacklight nudie cards. One part throwback, two parts modern design, these cards feature McGinness’s interpretation of tasteful nudes in blacklight colors as the faces.
Part of McGinness’s ongoing projects at The Standard’s California locations, McGinness will also be showing his works inside The Standard, Downtown LA, and his work will also be exhibited at The Standard, Hollywood from May 19th to July 9th. Those seeking a bit more personal touch will be glad to know that McGinness is also doing live drawing June 1st to 3rd at The Standard Hollywood.
As for the cards, they’re certainly remarkable, only emitting their images under blacklight, and showing tasteful, artistic interpretations of the female form. Guys looking to class up their poker nights might consider holding onto a deck. These cards are available at all Standard Hotels locations, and online.
