Last week we gave you a sneak peek at Romain Jerome‘s unbelievable ‘Rock The Rock’ DNA watch. Here we see an update to Jerome’s now famous DNA Moon Dust Watch. Made with the same unprecedented precision as The Rock, this chrono clearly celebrates the moon and its geology
The face is intended to look like the crust of the moon with gullies and craters pocking the surface. The crystal bears a subtle grid motif, to mimic the look of moon photography from the lens of a landing craft. Finally, the reason for the watch: The dial contains actual moon dust in its composition. With an acid etched astronaut’s footprint on the back, this watch holds endless surprises. Only 1969 (cute!) will be made, so look out for them soon.
