We love Fred Perry and we love harringtons. When we saw this seasonal version of the iconic spring jacket we had to sit up. The harrington has been a staple of menswear since it was first seen in Paton Place and on style geniuses like Steve McQueen.
This latest harrington, strays a bit from the typical cotton outer and moves towards a more winter suited wool. However still cut like a classic harrington, with it’s racing collar and tartan lining, this one also features a swatch of plaid at the welt of the right pocket. This adds a nice but subtle detail, that sets the wool harrington apart. Warm and stylish. Available online.
