I know at this point these things tend to be a bit pulpy. No one is expecting the next Das Boot here, but a little end of summer, retrospective rave movie never hurt anyone. The plot is pretty straight. A bunch of friends, “somewhere in England” decide to become party promoters in the burgeoning rave scene of 1990.
As one expects, they have momentary, wild success and then become victims to their own greed and of course the obligatory thugs who exploit them, blah, blah, blah.
Much like The Firm or The Business this flick should at least prove eye candy worthy. Expect tons of Fila, Sergio Tacchini and Adidas. Seems like something we should see. Due out this September.
