Ask about material and repairability before buying shoes
Check fit with the socks you intend to wear, including heel hold and toe room. Ask the maker or a cobbler whether the particular construction can be resoled, what work is available and what it costs. A repairable shoe is useful only if its fit and purpose are right for you. Confirm the upper material before choosing a conditioner or cleaning product.
The original copy below uses both “suede” and “Horween Chromexcel” language inconsistently. We have not verified the precise specification of this archived pair; do not use that wording as a care instruction. Oak Street’s factory guarantee covers specified defects, not a blanket promise of free repairs for normal wear.
