Globe-Trotter’s, makers of high-quality luggage and accessories, continue to impress with the release of this look at their Spring 2013 “Propeller” collection. Consisting of three carry-on pieces, designer Charlotte McDonnell took inspiration from an age when travel was just as much about the journey itself as the destination, when fashion and functionality were not mutually exclusive. While the bulk of the two bags are crafted from a water-repellant Limonta canvas twill and accented with bridle leather, the interior of each piece is lined with a cotton herringbone fabric. A notable detail is the leather zipper pulls, twisted into the shape of a propeller. Expect these to become available in early summer.
