New York label Modern Vice has just released this look at their new “King Kudu” trucker boot. For those who aren’t familiar, the “King Kudu” boot is hand-made from Kudu leather (the kudu is a species of African Antelope), which looks stunning in the flat-black colorway pictured above. The plain toe 145 oxford boot is one of Viberg’s most recognized styles and when built on their traditional work last it provides our favoured silhouette. Our latest version for Spring is constructed from four different roughout leathers on the Vibram 2021 sole. The brushed natural chromexcel toe and icy mocha chromexcel outstep make up the base while the english tan heel and chocolate brown instep provide the contrast for a subtle and unique multi-tone shoe. Vans OTW is set to release a new silhouette this fall known as the Breton Hi. A high-top boot, the new silhouette is the first in the OTW line to feature a rugged Vibram sole and a heavy-duty canvas upper. Debuting in waxed brown canvas and black ballistic versions, both pairs of the Breton Hi are set to start rolling out to Vans OTW retailers on July 1. Overall it’s a great looking boot, we’ll wait to report on price point to know what the damage is on these.
