For their latest offering Japanese brand Head Porter takes inspiration from the Corsican town of Calvi and release a collection of zip wallets and pouches. Mirroring the French islands landscape and beautiful ocean surrounding it, the collection boasts four different styles in total, which are available in a blue and black leather construction.

Japanese brand Rain Man has taken to task the problem of how to look good when the rain starts falling. Two Japanese power players – fragment design and Head Porter – have teamed up to create a beautiful accessories collection for Spring/Summer 2013. Using a combination of Head Porter’s “Mirage” and “Black Beauty” materials, the bags feature a relatively tonal look, elegant in their simplicity. In terms of a collaboration, the offering is fairly expansive, with everything from iPhone cases to waist packs and briefcases being represented. Japan’s Masunaga Eyewear give us a look at their stunning offering of optical pieces for Spring/Summer 2013. Nearly 100 years-old, this Japanese firm has been making extremely high quality, timeless eyewear that garner much-deserved revery amongst eyewear aficionados. Of course most of the frames are made from unrivaled Japanese-made acetate, but what really appealed to us about Masunaga’s offering was the wire-frames glasses; a classic look that’s taken a backseat to the trendiness of chunky acetate designs.
