Swiss watchmaker Breitling has released this new limited edition timepiece, called the ‘Super Avenger’. Designed to stand up to the rigors of professional military use, this watch features a 48mm black-anodized steel case that is water-resistant down to 1,000 ft and features textured pushers and crown for use in even the most inclimate conditions. The chronograph features three sub-dials for timing purposes as well as a date function. Limited to just 500 pieces, the ‘Super Avenger’ military watch is available at select Breitling boutiques.

The debut timepiece in Shinola’s “Great American Series”, The Wright Brothers™ Limited Edition watch is the very first in a series of annual watch releases created to honor iconic American innovators and industrial pioneers. Only 1,000 watches will ever be made.

To accompany the timepiece, Shinola also built The Wright Brothers™ Limited Edition bicycle, featuring a jet-black American-made frame, 11-speed internal hub, and sleek bamboo fenders.

Purchase of either the limited edition watch or bicycle includes membership in The Foundry, a private collectors club established exclusively for owners of limited edition Shinola goods.

Designer David Yurman has worked with Mode Design Group to produce a special bottle stopper designed specifically for the Patrón Añejo bottle. A definite statement piece for any bar, the dagger-shaped stopper is die-cast in solid metal and electroplated in both gunmetal and 24k gold. The ornate detailing takes inspiration from 18th Century Samurai swords; something Yurman has referenced before in his designs.

Christie’s auction house will soon sell “National Geographic: Around the World in 125 Years”, a three-volume book set by fine bookmaker Taschen compiling National Geographic‘s incredible imagery from the magazines storied 125 years. Signed by 43 of NatGeo‘s photographers, the limited-edition set is the fifth out of the only five signed, and the only one to have been made available for sale. The first set will be given to President Obama, with the remaining three to be retained by Taschen and National Geographic for inclusion in their archives. The set is estimated to be valued at between $10,000 to $15,000, available for bidding from November 19, through to December 3 at Christie’s.
