Swiss watchmaker Breitling has released this new limited edition timepiece, called the ‘Super Avenger’. Designed to stand up to the rigors of professional military use, this watch features a 48mm black-anodized steel case that is water-resistant down to 1,000 ft and features textured pushers and crown for use in even the most inclimate conditions. The chronograph features three sub-dials for timing purposes as well as a date function. Limited to just 500 pieces, the ‘Super Avenger’ military watch is available at select Breitling boutiques.

A new addition to their 51-30 Chrono watch, Nixon releases one of their staple timepieces in a new gunmetal/brown colorway. A more classic appearance than the traditionally all-metal styling of the model, the addition of a brown leather strap and white face soften the appearance of this highly technical timepiece. Its mechanical features include a Miyota Japanese quartz 6-hand chronograph movement with a date display and crown and pusher on the left hand side. Makers of fine French timepieces, Bell & Ross give us a look at an updated version of their BR03 model, named “Golden Heritage”. Featuring a satin-silver square face, this elegant and rugged timepiece has a certain vintage aesthetic to it, while maintaining all the modern technical features Bell & Ross has become known for. Celebrating the 50th anniversary of 1963′s emblematic Daytona, Rolex unveiled a platinum edition of the Oyster Perpetual Cosmograph Daytona at this year’s Baselworld. Donning a chestnut brown monobloc ceramic Cerachrom bezel and an icy blue dial, this marks the first time the design has been crafted entirely in 950 platinum as the precious metal handles the safety clasp closure and solid-link bracelet. The piece is also equipped with Rolex’s in-house calibre 4130 self-winding mechanical chronograph movement, which proves infinitely more reliable than its counterparts thanks to a design that incorporates significantly fewer components. Retaining Rolex’s signature Oyster case, this nod to Paul Newman’s trusty timepiece will be available from select retailers in extremely limited numbers.
