Baracuta gives us a look at the Fall/Winter 2014 collection in this video titled, “The Journey”. Designed by Jeff Griffin, the brand stays close to their British heritage.

The Y-3 Autumn/Winter 2014-15 communication campaign, shot by Cedric Buchet with creative direction by Lloyd & Co, visualizes Y-3’s examination of superhero vision for the season with two main characters: the hero and the villain.

The core of the campaign focuses on graphic color, daring patterns, and an illustrative palette, all adopted from the theme of Japanese Manga, a source of inspiration for Y-3’s graphic and bold Autumn/Winter 2014-15 collection. The vivid primary color codes borrowed from the looks — along with halftone pattern treatments — stem directly from this comic book inspired theme. Line screen dot treatments applied over campaign imagery seamlessly blend in and out over the characters, giving the sensation that our two opponents could leap out of the artwork and into reality at any moment.

Singapore-born, London-based designer Peir Wu has emerged from Central Saint Martins College and a position at Raf Simons to unveil a new menswear collection for Fall/Winter 2014. Playing with the concept of modernism, Wu’s designs combine beautiful fabrics with stark, heavily tailored cuts to create a downright futuristic aesthetic. Though the items may be familiar – bomber jacket, blazer, button-up shirt – the overall appearance is anything but. Italian label Moncler has come together with luggage maker Rimowa to create this limited edition take on the brand’s clsssic ‘Topas Stealth’ luggage. Offered in two sizes, each suitcase features a riffled aluminum shell with polished and reinforced corners and comes complete TSA-approved locks set directly into the case for a refined look. Other details include a telescopic handle, four independent wheels, and serial number unique to the bag itself for tracking purposes. The interior is where Moncler’s influence really comes to light, with padded nylon pieces for your toiletries, dirty laundry, and shoes included in the purchase. The collaborative series from Parisian fashion house A.P.C. and Carhartt’s WIP line continues into Fall/Winter 2013 with the release of some cold weather wares and accessories. Overall, the offering is subdued in both color and cut, with emphasis being placed on small details as opposed to more aggressive design directions.
