Ian Barry of Falcon Motorcycles has set out on a mission to create the ‘perfect motorcycle’ in his new project, ‘Only Ten’—consisting of ten Falcon motorcycles constructed using refurbished parts of his favourite bikes circa the Second World War (think Norton, Triumph, Vincent, etc.). But this isn’t a project in restoring bikes; all the parts used are re-imagined in the Falcon aesthetic, with any new parts being formed from reclaimed metals, during the 900 hour construction process. The ‘Bullet,’ depicted above and reserved for Jason Lee, won the ‘Best Custom Motorcycle Award’ at the prestigious 2008 Legend Of The Motorcycle International Concours (albeit not being entered in the competition and just on display).
Custom bikes are available upon consultation. For more information, see Falcon Motorcycles.
