
Sweaters are best baggy. On girls, on guys, it balances out the silhouette, complementing tapered pants or a miniskirt. Since guys have little concern for hips and curves other than their aesthetic appreciation, the baggy sweater (or sweatshirt) should become a Sunday afternoon staple.
Outfit 1:
The knit sweater works best baggy if it is thicker. A thinner sweater doesn’t have the same structure and doesn’t allow you to ‘wear it’ in the same way. As far as colors are concerned, the sky is virtually the limit. This guy has chosen a more brightly colored version, but solids are totally acceptable too. Basically, go check the gold mine at your local thrift store for the best finds.
Outfit 2:
Sweatshirts are a keen replacement for the knitted alternative, like this one in primary colors. The blocks of color are a fun, simple, playful addition to his outfit. It’s comfortable, casual, and really easy. Reminiscent of the skatepark and all my high school crushes (with better style), this combination is perfect.
