One of the more interesting collections of Spring/Summer 2013 because it was posthumously designed, here’s the much anticipated look at the offerings from the house of Alexander McQueen. Sarah Burton served as the creator of the collection this season as the label’s creative director. Conventional checkered and houndstooth patterns are present alongside more unique prints, with further leather options breaking up the more silk-oriented theme of the collection. With suit jackets as the focus, Burton created a number of single and double-breasted styles; the most poignant pieces included black with contrasting white labels and fantastic dragonfly embroidered detailing.
