Common is a up-and-coming London based brand founded by Saif Bakir and Emma Hedlund. Although the brand is new, the two designers have had plenty of experience working with starts like Kanye West and Wooyoungmi. This coming Fall/Winter 2012 sees the designers releasing their latest collection with an emphasis on experimentation with prints and graphics.
The collection features jersey jackets, trenches and caps, some of which feature horizontal stripes or animal bird prints. Straightforward pieces are offered in suits, sweaters, button-ups and pants. Common definitely knows its style and Bakir describes it perfectly as a mix of “London edge, Paris chic and Scandinavian minimalism”.
