H&M Announces Launch of H&M “Sport” Athletic Clothing Line

Looking to make forays into the exploding designer athletic wear market, H&M has announced the release of a new athletic clothing line called H&M “Sports”. Beginning next year, H&M locations worldwide will promote performance-focused outerwear in specially demarcated sections of their retail locations. The Sport collection will feature a range of windproof and water-repellent jackets, warm-up track pants, and fleece items. Having outfitted the Swedish Olympic team for Sochi 2014, the clothing in-store will feature R&D by the team’s athletes. Look for the H&M Sport collection to hit H&M stores across the globe on January 2.
