New York designer Eunice Lee singlehandedly elevated the status of the once frump set chino to all new heights with her incredible Gio Pant. The slim but not overly skinny chino hits all the right sweet spots to secure a very flattering fit — tapered leg, higher back rise, straight leg opening. This season’s collection of the highly coveted pant features some new colour additions to the mix — ox blood, emerald, ocean blue, and my personal favourite, leaf. It’s so refreshing to see the company doing an olive shade as opposed to the brownish green hue of the chestnut pant.
If you look close enough, you’ll also notice a slight price reduction in the pant. While the price may still seem high for some, I strongly urge you to try them on. Once you’ve stepped foot in a pair, I promise you won’t want to take them off. I wear mine all the time for good reason. And as Lee herself admits, “they make your ass look great!”
