A short movie, titled “Arrival” and filmed by Mel Bles, has been created to further duplicate the collection. In a clean, lab-like space, a door opens rhythmically as a man passes. No, it is two doors. Images mix, mingle, overlap. One cannot tell if it is one person, two, or an army of clones crossing paths in a vacuum. The pace of the prints comes alive, the duplicity of the bags creates visual structure. The video materializes the dichotomy of the collection, its futurism: the point of arrival, here, is also the point of departure.
