Video: Youth Lagoon 'July'

Here’s the video for “July”, one of the highlights off of Youth Lagoon’s excellent debut LP, last year’s The Year of Hibernation. It was directed by Tyler T Williams, who directed the video for YL’s “Montana”. Like that clip, this one’s eerily sad, although with all the bloody noses, it’s also just plain eerie. Watch it to find out why– without giving too much away, anyone who saw Lars Von Trier’s recent end-of-the-world film Melancholia might feel similar chills after watching this.
