Bombshell American model Kate Upton has been selected to grace the coveted spot on the cover of Vanity Fair for the magazine’s 100th anniversary issue. While comparisons with Marilyn Monroe have been rife since she exploded onto the scene, this monumental cover certainly seals the comparison in popular culture. Within the pages of the issue, Upton is photographed miming the very first issue of Dress & Vanity Fair, which was released on October 1, 1913. With the cover shot by Annie Leibovitz, essays from esteemed writers like Bill Maher, Dave Eggers, and Kurt Andersen fill out this special issue of the famed magazine.
