As the weather starts getting a bit cooler, sweater season will begin. I think it’s the best season of the year (expect maybe that first day of Spring when everything is right in the world). The new season’s clothing is always so well-designed and the textures are so great but your options open up as well. As you need to increase the layers, crew neck sweaters are just the ticket.
Outfit 1:
This is such a flawless combination. From the glasses to the sneakers, everything works. The sweater in question is second hand (or ‘vintage’ if you want to sound classy) and consequently has the kind of slogan that isn’t lame or corny. The shirt underneath is subdued but you can always mix it up depending on the colors involved. The outfit is laid back, effortless cool—just the way we like it.
Outfit 2:
Here’s another way to rock a crew-neck. This guy has embraced geek culture—from polaroid to 8-bit—and incorporated it into his wardrobe with a touch of cool (so it’s intentional): white skinny jeans, gold sneakers, and a red fitted cap. It’s practical and versatile.
