Opened on January 21st, 2010, Surface to Air’s Rue Vieille du Temple location is situated in the fashionable Marais district, and is heralded as the foundation of Surface to Air’s international retail development. Designed by S2A’s creative team, in collaboration with architectural mastermind Federico Masotto, the new store is the brand’s most architecturally innovative yet.

Featuring sparkling concrete, marquina marble, moving panels and trompe l’oeil floorings, the architecture of the location was completed with structured, new-age furniture designed by Federico and executed by Paolo Vale. Simon Louchet Decoration, who transformed Masotto’s vision into reality, were the head contractors on the project.

The 150m2 retail space will continue to carry the full men’s and women’s ready-to-wear collections, shoes and accessories. Furthermore, it will feature the first in a series of ‘shop-in-shops.’ Surface to Air will also host a gallery space where inspiring, forward-thinking and up-and-coming artists can present throughout the year.
