Interfacing – Fondation Cartier

Fondation Cartier is definitely one of Paris’ most interesting museums for contemporary art since 1984. And yes, it was founded by jewel specialist Cartier. To grab some attention in the graffiti scene, Fondation Cartier created this interactive online collection, which contains over 1,000 works by 300 graffiti legends. Viewers have the option to look up different graffiti writing types, organized in alphabetical order from A-Z, or by street artist. Clicking on one letter will take you to a small collection of pictures from the artist’s catalogue – an awesome idea that takes you back into the days when you were bombing subways and bridges while listening to the Beastie Boys tapes on your Walkman.
