Innovative Swiss watchmakers, Azimuth, has finally released their SP-1 Landship watch; a watch modeled after early 20th century tanks. The somewhat bulky design makes the watch appeal to collectors more than those looking for an everyday timepiece, but nonetheless, is inarguably fascinating.
Azimuth has separated the hour and minute indication area, with the hours being found on the top turret of the ‘tank’, while the minutes are displayed through the window in the ‘front’. The titanium casing is 40 x 55mm, and on the side is a crown meant to look like a side gun turret.
Watch enthusiasts may have to battle each other for this piece, as only about 100 will be made available towards the end of the year.
