Husband-and-wife team Christo and Jeanne-Claude have been the world’s most pre-eminent installation artists since their first effort in 1968, and in this work by Taschen, we’re treated to a retrospective of their hugely influential work. Photographs by friend and photographer Wolfgang Volz make up a good portion of the book, interspersed with sketches, notes and other offerings from the duo.
Jeanne-Claude passed away in 2009, but this limited edition book is a wonderful way to collect their astonishing, ephemeral work for yourself.
