Showcasing Maison Martin Margiela‘s typical sense of minimalism and style, this promo video is telling us all that the Maison’s exhibition, ’20’, will be at Somerset House in London next. One blog described MMM as a fashion insider’s joke, and to an extent it is. We like to think of it more as being like a Bertolt Brecht play. Where other labels immerse you in high fashion and encourage you to escape into a world of luxury, Maison Martin Margiela engages you and forces you to look at its own work from a critical, academic perspective. 20 will be at the Somerset House from June 3rd, to September 5th.
