Dries Van Noten ignores fuss and fanciness, and goes for an homage to simple men’s tailoring with the spring / summer 2011 collection. Eschewing the temptation of intricate ornamentation and complexity for an almost Margiela-esque minimalism, the collection features the straight lines, and cuts of traditional menswear, but with beautiful small subtle variances.
