Lad Musician 'Black Painting' Fall / Winter 2010 Collection

Lad Musician‘s fall / winter collection for 2010 is called Black Painting, and takes more than a few cues from classic vampire films. The pieces are dark, elegant and refined, but when you see some of the pieces, they seem archaic, with capes even making an appearance. The cosmetics of the show however, are the real giveaway, with bloody eye detailings, pale hungry looks, and false bat-like ears. The effect is more Dracula than Edward Cullen, emphasizing a refined, and elegant look – with a menacing, predatorial undertone.
