Yet here Margiela releases what can only be described as a revolutionary design. Despite having a familiar silhouette these cotton t-shirts are anything but typical. Starting with a boat shaped neck hole, the shirts feature a yoke that runs the length of the sleeves, chest and back. This results in no shoulder seam, which ultimatley provides an extremely unique look. With fabric rising up from the neck, it has a slight look of a popped collar and I believe a slimming effect. The Margiela Slit Neck T-Shirt is a very fresh approach to an often indistinguishable item. Available online in grey and navy.
