The Pudu Prison Complex by Adi Arfan

Adi Arfan has taken these stunning photographs of Malaysia’s Pudu Prison Complex. First constructed in 1895 by the British colonial authorities, the prison was used until 2008, and even served as a prisoner of war camp where British and Commonwealth prisoners were kept by the Japanese during the 1940s. In June of 2010, the first stage of the prison’s demolition began. The entire prison will be gone by 2012.
