The firefighters of the San Fransisco Fire Department need to leap into burning buildings, brave impossible temperatures, and know no fear. They need a ladder to match, and in this video, we take a look at the ladder shop that produces the pieces that these incredible people use. The only fire department still using wooden ladders, the ladders are favored for their inability to conduct electricity, in a city full of low hanging electrical wires.
