We’re looking forward to finding out what this Vans capsule is all about. Nevertheless, it appears they have released a line, in celebration of the life and work of the late Dennis “Mr. Easy Rider” Hopper. Actor, photog, activist and style maven, are just but a few lines on Hopper’s enormous resume. As an icon of all things L.A., it is pretty obvious why Vans would want to honor such a man.
The initial drop will feature a waxed canvas chukka, a cream coloured 59 Era and a vintage looking work shirt. Although It is unlikely Hopper ever wore Vans in his hay day, it’s legends like him, who truly inspire great street style.
